Cases
|
Every instrument needs good protection. Whether moving it from school to home or just storing it, we recommend hard cases, not soft cases.
We supply replacements
cases.
It has to be a tight fit for the instrument, the latches and hinges have to work.
We also repair cases if possible to do so. |

Common Tips for Students and Parents Don’t take for granted that your instrument will be OK if your drop your case, sit on it or
bang it around.
Keep your instrument in the case when you are not playing it.
Small siblings like to “play” with the instrument. Absolutely not!
Pets like to sleep in your case. Not cute.
Your case is not a garbage can. Keep it clean.
It is time to invest in a new case when the cork worm and other pests take over or the smell knocks you out. This mostly happens with older cases or school owned cases.
If you own a vacuum cleaner, use it. Cases like this special treatment.
Soft cases are not so heavy. However, your student will complain about carrying it back and forth to school every day. Perhaps have 2 instruments, 1 at home and 1 at school. Then,
all they have to carry is the mouth piece and the music book. Problem solved.
Soft cases are a magnet for dirt, hard to clean and the zipper is the first thing to go. Soft cases and bags are in no way a good protection for you instrument.

This one is quite expensive.
Please keep your Mouth Piece clean. Use a Mouth Piece brush, water and soap. Just that easy.

Keep the big Mouth Pieces (for instruments you are not bringing home) in a Mouth Piece pouch.
